CLARINET LESSONS ABERDEEN
Yvonne Stewart is our clarinet, piano and keyboard tutor
Yvonne is a first study clarinettist and has been playing for around 30 years. Graduating with a BEd (hons) Music degree in 1998, she has taught as a classroom music teacher in various secondary schools in Aberdeen and Glasgow, plus independent private music schools as a private tutor. She also taught for Bruce Millers Music Shop in Aberdeen for many years.

Yvonne is a registered teacher with the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and has a 100% pass rate to date for students who have sat exams over the past 25 years. She is also a member of the ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians) and holds a Disclosure Scotland PVG certificate and SCQF Level 6 certificate in emergency first aid at work (2023).
Students can follow the ABRSM, Trinity College London or MTB syllabus in preparation for exams, or they are welcome to take lessons as a hobby. She enjoys teaching people of all ages and is very patient, friendly and encouraging.
Lessons are individually tailor-made to suit the needs of each student.
Lessons are available for students aged between 8 to 10 years old and upwards. Younger children will benefit from learning recorder first.
